Sapporo is a modern city with tall buildings but is also a very clean city as is all of Japan.

Modern Sapporo


With all it's modern architecture the Odori Park still remains in the center of the city.

The city with it's skyscrapers. No longer confined to 8 stories like it was back in the 60s.


Construction is present all around the city of Sapporo.


The teenagers have become westernised and hit McDonalds after school.


The Sapporo Train Station. Beneath it is the entrance to the subway and underground shopping center.


You can now walk from the train station to the TV Tower and Odori Park underground and shop along the way.


They are well prepared for winter.


There is now a high speed toll road to take you from Sapporo to Chitose as well as many other cities in the area.
