The 2017 reunion in North Little Rock has ended and what a great reunion was had by all. First I want to thank Deretha and Paul Ames for their great reunion and secondly I would like to thank the Wyndham Hotel staff who were so
helpful and friendly to us all.  GREAT JOB!!! You should be proud of your accomplishment of having a very successful reunion that was loved by all of us. Your hard work really paid off. The tours were fantastic, great location and special people all came together to make this a very enjoyable and successful reunion.

PartB: OTHER ASA GROUP REUNIONS

Around the ASA by Roy Gettz

1. FASAF 2017 & 2018 REUNION - There will be no 2017 FASAF reunion. Tentatively a reduced FASAF reunion in 2018 is being planned. A proposal is on hand  for the Ramada Gateway in Kissimmee, where we had our 2015 reunion, for Sunday, March 11 to check out on Thursday, March 15, 2018. The hotel is supplying us with a lot of goodies to include complimentary assorted hot & cold hors d’oeuvres for a Monday night reception with a cash bar set up, and a free hospitality suite. This would be a reduced reunion with no planned tours; there is plenty to do in the Kissimmee area without them. We will consider an evening out at one of the supper clubs and golf if enough interest is shown. Let’s face it, the big things about these reunions are old friends getting together.
We would, as usual, wind up the reunion with a banquet on Wednesday. While these reunions are normally held in Florida it is open to all former ASA’ers. If you are not on their mailing list or have had an address change, contact Roy Gettz at asachitoseassn@att.net or 321-259-7039. Plans on this reunion depend on responses to these plans. All who respond will be included on our mailing list.
2. AZ ASA Assn – The point of contact for reunion information is the Reunion coordinator Doug Cook dougirenecook@q.com (520) 281-2318 home, (520) 603-0247 cell.
3. There are numerous other unit oriented reunions which can be found listed on the NASAA (National ASA Association) site at http://nasaahome.org. Check them out, they have a great site. If you are not up on the web and have a particular unit you are interested in contact Roy Gettz 321-259-7039.
