2010 San Antonio -
Shelia "Don't mess with Texas" McCann will host this reunion.  El Tropicano Riverwalk Holiday Inn 110 Lexington Ave San Antonio, TX 78205

Mark your 2010 calendar NOW for the 22nd Annual ASA Chitose Reunion. The dates are set for Monday September 20, 2010 through Friday September 24, 2010. Come early and stay late to enjoy the great city of San Antonio, TX, also known for its friendly people!

This will be our third reunion to be held in San Antonio, TX. The hotel selected will be the El Tropicano Riverwalk Hotel http://www.eltropicanohotel.com/ . Originally opened in 1962 as the first hotel on the Riverwalk, a recent multi-million dollar renovation has returned the El Tropicano to the iconic 60”s style for which it was once known. Other features include Mangos restaurant, the Tiki Bar, and the Expresso Café that all offer outdoor verandas overlooking the scenic river walk. Mangos features American cuisine with a tropical flair, Tiki Bar offers exotic drinks, and Expresso Café serves specialty coffees, fresh salads, and assorted sandwiches. At El Tropicano, you can take a dive in our outdoor swimming pool, bask in the sun on the sun deck or work up a sweat in the state-of-the-art fitness center.

San Antonio is not only the home of the Alamo, but offers many other historical and fun loving places to visit. To name a few points of interest; the Botanical Gardens, the Mexican Market, Sea World, and several museums and tours are being planned to include some of these places. Additional tour details will be available in the spring newsletter. Golfers will be playing at the Fort Sam Houston Golf links

The nightly room rate is $84.00 plus current occupancy tax rate. These rates are good for two days before and after the reunion scheduled dates, if available. All reservation requests require a credit card guarantee or advance deposit equal to one night’s room and tax rate. Personal checks, money orders and all major valid credit cards will be accepted. Deposits are non-refundable for rooms cancelled less than 72 hours prior to arrival. Be sure to identify yourself as ASA Chitose Army Reunion attendees. For the early birds, (we will have them,) hotel registration may be made by calling El Tropicano Riverwalk’s toll free reservation number: (866) 423-7814 or by email at reservations@eltropicanohotel.com.
