Tanuki Koji: The Ginza of Sapporo


The city after the first snowfall. In Sapporo the first lasting snow falls at the beginning od December. Between then and the end of March approximately 250 inches can be expected to fall. At the beginning of the season  houses, trees, and streets are clothed in pure white turning Sapporo into a "Silver city".  


Children's playland atop the Marui Department Store. Walking through the Marui is like looking through a   pictorial magazine. It's never boring and lots of fun. Also there is always some kind of exhibit, art showing or fashion show going on.
